I am not really into politics much, I care enough to vote wisely, but that's about it. I would consider myself a republican and like that Bush has a relationship with Jesus Christ. Is he perfect? Does he do everything he should and do it right? No. Even though I think Will Ferrel is hilarious and love almost everything he does, I still feel as though our presidents get way too much crap. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending them, just saying I'd like to see those who hassle them to see if they could do the job any better. As far as global warming goes, I do think there are many ways we can slow it down or diminish it in our lifetime. There are ways, but I'm not really sold that enough people in our lifetime will change THEIR ways. Leonardo Dicaprio is making/has mad a film about this issue. Here is the preview of it: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=12416787

Meu generation definition 4 Dec 15 2008, 8:44 PM EST by rtakeshia24

I actually agreed with the statement that the generation of people I was born in are over privilaged and do not understand or act on the notion of hard work. I find that I encounter many people my own age who do not know how to work hard for things. People are used to be given things and opportunities without having to strive for them. At the same time I can understand that our generation is just not use to working hard the same way that past generations did. Today we are required to be able to work well with technology instead of knowing how to push a plow through a field. But I do know from personal experience that my generation has a different idea of what it means to work hard, whether or not it is wrong is subjective. I find myself not understanding the work that my parents had to put in to create the life they have. At the same time my parents don't understand the things that I have to go through in order to achieve my goals. http://youtube.com/watch?v=RY1Bl4nfpdA is a video about the indigo girls and their song "Closer to Fine." I think the Indigo Girls write songs with great messages that make you think. This particular song I like because it expresses the viewpoing that there are many answers to the same question and that life is an adventure of growing.
