I wanted to add the song by the Black Eyed Peas called "Where is the Love" because it really depicts where we are at right now religiously. We don't understand each other so we condemn each other and I don't believe this is what we should be doing to one another.


Additionally I also wanted to add the video of Kanye West called Jesus Walk With Me because again it depicts where I am at religiously in understanding the madness all while trying to be faithful. And I believe this song can be universal if you substitute Jesus for your own higher power.

Christianity and Muslims are two of the three oldest religions of the world. Each religion has one prophet: Christians have Jesus, Jews have Moses, and Muslims have Muhammad.

The Christian worldview is that humans have been created in the image of God, and that God created the earth. Humans have souls and are one with Christ. There is an afterlife and a place where your soul goes to rest called heaven. The problem with humans is that they alienate from God in what is called "sins" through acts of disobedience and are infact born sinners in what is called "original sin" exlpaining how humans are by nature sinful creatures.

Humans will be saved by the grace of God, and sent his only Son Jesus to deliver the world from sinfulness, it is those who accept God's grace, and have lived by God's Law or repented for their sins who get to go to Heaven and be in a eternal state of peace and happiness with God. Those who don't follow God's Law or don't repent for their sins get sent into Hell - a place of torment and unhappiness.


Muslims believe humans are created from the earth with Allah breathing His spirit into humanity. Male and Females were created from a single soul and have been created for the purpose of submission to the divine will. Like Judaism and Christianity, Islam teaches that humans have the power of Allah (God) over the earth and creatures.

Unlike Christianity, there is no original sin, humans are born virtuous and Allah offers his guidance in the fulfillment of His will through the Qu'ran. Muslims believe the cause of alienation from God is through distractions such as false idols, or Satan (Iblis). Also for Muslims God is perfect in every way, and to humanize God would mean to imply some imperfection of God in humans since humans are prone to fall from the path and deviate from Allah's will. Muslims recognize Jesus, not as the son of God, but as a prophet like Muhammad who was free from distraction and can serve as models for Christians in the Christian faith and Muslims in the Muslim faith.

Muslims also believe in a judgement day and if their lives merited a pass to heaven or a pass to hell. For Muslims salvation lies in submission and abide by His teachings, just like Christians follow God's Law. Muslims recite the Shahadah everyday which is like the Lords prayer, 5 times a day. When responding the to call to prayer, Muslims must first purify themselves by cleaning the hands, face, mouth, nose, teeth and feet. If the prayer is in a mosque, worshippers remove their shoes and face the direction of Mecca.
