The Gods and Goddess' of Greek mythology are alive in our pop culture today. In the Disney Movie Hercules and in the Disney Television show, kids are being introduced to Greek Mythology at a very young age. I think it is awesome that Disney made this movie and t.v series because it opens the minds of children and at least gets them thinking about the greek gods and goddess'. Maybe it inspires them to pretend to be a god or goddess. Below are a few pictures of the Goddess above as Disney portrays them, followed by a brief Hercules T.V Clip. The clip would not embed so click on the link!

Below is a youtube video of Aphrodite. It does a good job of showing her sexuality and how she was born of the sea. It is from Xena Warrior Princess and may be a little cheesy- but it gets its point across well. Unfortunately I was unable to embed the link on the page.
