Four Models Of Philosophical TransformationThis is a featured page

Hi all.....I'm going to add to and clean up this page a bit, but it gives you access to material for 4 brief (usually metaphorical) accounts of human transformation. We'll be going over this material. It's interesting, potentially fun!
Each of the four figures below present a model of human transformation. There are numerous connections to make, both in terms of similarity and difference. Choose two models, and explore both the similarities and differences. This takes creativity and analysis. One thing all four models of transformation have in common is that each requires some critical inner act of the individual. The transformation only happens if you make it happen. This provides a particularly interesting and important basis of comparison. Discuss the important individual acts of the two models of transformation you have selected. Are they similar? Different? Convincing? Inspiring?
